Where did all of our feral pigs come from?

    Feral pigs in the U.S. are native to Europe and Asia. In some places in the U.S. these feral pigs are posing quite an ecological threat to native ecosystems. The only native pig-like creature living in North America is the collared peccary (Tayassu tajacu).
