Where can I take my flatscreen TV to recycle it?

Televisions (as well as computer monitors and other applicances) contain chemicals that can be harmful when not disposed of properly or are exposed to the environment. You should take your television to a local authorized electronic recycling facility. If you are not sure where one is, check out e-Cycling Central. Also, many retailers, such as Best Buy, will take away and recycle your old TV free of charge when they deliver your new one.
