Both Jobs in Sustainability and GreenBiz.com have job boards that show available openings in the field of sustainability. Also, it can be useful to research different organizations that you may want to work for and see if they have any openings.

All sectors have become or are becoming heavily involved in the concept of sustainability. You can take advantage of this demand and pursue jobs in either the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors. If you are interested in the environmental nonprofit organizations, then education and volunteering will definitely give you a better chance at getting your foot in the door. I also agree with the previous answer in that online job searches are the way to find openings in the sustainability and environmental fields in your area. Good luck!

Indeed.com is a good place to look. You may also want to look directly on the websites of companies or non-profits you would like to work for. One of the most difficult parts of finding a sustainability job can be to track one down! Under job searches, I will search the terms: Sustainability, green, energy, conservation, wildlife, natural resources, and utilities. Since the field is newer, there aren’t always obvious job titles! Best of luck to you in your search!
