National Geographic has some good information about the tribe, whose existence was confirmed by Brazilian authorities in June of this year. The NG article has several pictures and page of information, though there are no pictures of the actual people. More information will be gained by satellite imagery and a future follow-up expedition. Due to Brazilian policy that prohibits disturbance and encroachment upon these tribes and for personal ethical reasons, there will be no direct contact with the tribe, so learning specifics will probably take some time.
This photograph of two newly built homes aided confirmation of the tribe’s existence.
