There are many great natural sources of fiber, including many fruits such as raspberries, pears, apples, and figs. Whole grains are high in fiber such as whole wheat pasta or an oat bran muffin. Legumes such as split peas and black beans are also high in fiber, as well as many vegetables like artichokes, peas, and broccoli.
Seeds and nuts, such as sunflower seeds, pistachios, and almonds are also good sources of fiber. You can vary your consumption of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds and still be able to get plenty of fiber.
