There are so many products are out there that say “Natural” but is it really natural? The first step to finding the right product is to look at labels since the words “natural” and “all-natural” are not regulated labeling terms.
You probably want fragrance-free products, products in glass because it’s recyclable, you want to look at company’s website and you can also make your own beauty solutions at home.
But check out the website cited below which provides a “Getting Techie” section and another great resource is the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database site, which rates popular cosmetics and personal-care products with hazard scores on a scale of 0 to 10, depending on their toxicity.
