Where on the branch and when do I prune Flame Amur Maple. I planted 10 of them 3 weeks ago

    These should only be pruned in the summer, best in mid or late summer. So for now, it would be best to wait at least a month. This is more so if you want to keep them as a tree, then they don’t need too much trimming, usually taking out the entire longer branches for desired shape. If you want to have it has a bush, then constant pruning is necessary, especially pull out all of the new growth. And a helpful hint for creating a “bushier” bush, is to pinch the tips of the stems.
