Where are there wild buffalo herds?

    In the United States, the federal government has established a number of publicly owned areas where wild buffalo herds are allowed to range freely. A large number of these areas are located in Yellowstone National Park.

    Here is a brief and incomplete list of the United States’ public areas. In these areas, you can find wild buffalo herds.
