    Kuwait City in Iraq is one of the hottest places on earth. It maintains a summer average high of about 114 degrees F (45.4 C) and night time lows that stay around 86 degrees (30 C)- one of the only places in the world this happens. Death Valley in California will reach similar high temperatures, but does not stay consistently as hot and the nights tend to be much cooler. Below is a helpful chart of average temperature in Kuwait City between 1994 and 2008 (in celcius).
