Yes and no depending on where you are camping. In most environments, it is wise to dig a hole approximately 200 ft away from campsites, waterways and trails, take a stick and mix the feces with the surrounding soil, and cover with rocks or leaves. If you are camping in snow or desert environments (or places where it is illegal to poop in the woods) it is best to take some extra bags to collect feces and dispose at a proper receptacle at the end of your journey.
