Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has stated that the decision will be made by the end of April. If the Department of the Interior approves it, the project will be subject to a few more reviews, including one by the FAA as to whether the wind farm would interfere with radio signals.
The Cape Wind website’s timeline states that after federal approval in April of this year, construction can commence and it will take two years.
