When was the last time colliding continents caused mountain ranges?

Australia’s collision with the SE part of the Eurasian plate is driving up the mountains of New Guinea as well as many in other parts of Indonesia. Continent-continent collisions really mean continental material, so the India-Eurasia collision is indeed such a collision, irrespective of human geographic conventions like subcontinents. Likewise, the collision between Arabia and Turkey-Iraq-Iran is a continent-continent collision currently underway, and the collision between Italy and Europe driving up the Alps is also one.
