When was the first time we saw great white sharks jump out of the water to feed?

The earliest date that I have been able to find is 1936. In this instance, a great white shark jumped into a South African ship, knocking a crewman overboard. However, sharks have been noted leaping out of water to attack seals and other prey. It’s a pretty wild thought, particularly considering how enormous these animals are!
