When was the first time we found another planet?

    There have only been three planets that have been “discovered” through the aid of a telescope. All the other planets can be seen by the naked eye and thus, humankind has been looking at these planets since from the very beginning. However, in 1781, Sir William Herschel discovered Uranus, the first planet not viewable without a telescope.
