When was the first modern zoo established?

The worlds first public zoo was created by Queen Hatshepsut in 1500 B.C. in Egypt by traveling around Africa and collecting animals. Although the zoo is from a very long time ago, it was similar in principle to modern day zoos. Zoos were created ever since, so there is not really any way to determine when the first modern zoo was, because they evolved over time. The oldest zoo in existence today was built in 1752 and is in Vienna.
