Nope, it is not necessary to remove staples, However, when recycling paper, there are some things that you have to take into consideration before you toss everything into the recycle bin.
For instance, never throw paper in a recycle bin that has been contaminated with food. Also, make sure to remove all plastic wrapping, or plastic covered stickers from paper material. Pizza boxes aren’t recyclable, because they are usually contaminated with food and grease.
