When I fart, does it hurt the o-zone layer?

Not unless you are drinking Freon.  The ozone layer is broken down by compounds called Chlorofluorocarbons, or CFCs.  Your hilarious flatulence is made up mainly of nitrogen and carbon dioxide, but also contains traces of hydrogen and methane, which are both flammable.  Some of those gases are greenhouse gases, but come out in such small quanitities that they do not make an environmental impact.

Despite the South Park episode about farting, the effect of your farts on the O-Zone layer is completely negligible.
