When I bought my key lime tree three years ago, it was full of flowers and fruit. Since then it has not had a flower. I planted it in the ground the first spring and it hardly grew for the first year. Now it is twice the size, (3 feet) but no flowers.

I live in Port Charlotte, Florida
I use a citrus ferterlizer and ferterlize about exery three months.

Lime trees do best with a lot of heat, and sufficient nutrients (through a fertilizer). Make sure you aren’t over-pruning, because you could be taking potential blossoms with it. Make sure it is getting plenty of water (especially in a hot climate) and has proper drainage. The link below is perfect for your situation.
