When a flood happens and covers trees with water how do they stay alive?

    Yes, trees can survive through most floods, assuming they do not become uprooted due to fast paced, rough water. Even if the trees are up to their trunks in water, they will only absorb the water they need, so when the water eventually recedes, the tree stay healthy.
