Gum freezes just like any other food product when stored in an average home freezer set at zero degrees farenheit. If you are freezing chewing gum to maintain freshness, it is recommended that you store it in an airtight freezer bag in the back of the freezer away from the door. This way, it is out of line with the air vent and won’t be affected by temperature changes when the door is open or the freezer cycles.
