When do you think we will get a national climate agreement?

A nationwide agreement in the United States will be hard to reach, due to the federal system and the different speed at which states are developing their own policies. Nonetheless, important steps have been carried on by the Department of Energy, thanks to President Obama’s push for a New “Green” Deal. The current administration’s program “New Energy for America” will probably reverse the trend set by President Bush when he affirmed in 2001 his unwillingness to ratify the Kyoto Protocol.
