The Greeks first started using a very primitive form of the shower – they had pipes that allowed them to pump water into their common shower rooms. The Romans also copied this in their famous bath houses.
The traditional shower however was not seen until the late nineteenth-century as indoor plumbing became more reliable and the water could be heated before hand.
