The Chevy website simply says that the Spark will be released in 2011. If you go to the link below, you can get on the email list which will give you further updates as to when the car will be released and car specifics.
I actually spent time in a spark in Nicaragua. They are already produced for use and marketed outside of the U.S., and has been in Europe since 2005 under the name Matiz (for example). This is no surprise however, since many countries other than the U.S. place a greater emphasis on smaller, more economical vehicles (especially in places like Nicaragua where people can barely afford cars, let alone expensive ones).
