Audi promises to release an electric car within the next 10 years. “By then we will offer cars without exhaust emissions,” Reuters quoted Stadler as saying. “Electric cars offer great opportunities, which we have already seized on.” In the past, Audi has experimented with electric concept cars such as the 2006 Audi R-Zero Concept; and the latest is the Audi R8 e-Tron Electric Concept. 10 years may sound like a long time, but keep in mind that plans always change with concepts cars, and there is always a chance that it could be released sooner than later.
