There are many similarities between the two species; both green for starters! They’re also both amphibians, quadrupeds, both have 2 eyes, and depending on the species of turtle both often spend the bulk of their time in the water.
Not to mention they are both a species that alter their blood temperatures to the surrounding environment.
I thought maybe you’d enjoy some expansion on what nikonfotobug said, although he really did a great job answering the question! Both frogs and turtles have also had the unfortunate historical tendency to be associated with traditional curatives. There are also lots of foods that both are used for, from turtle soup to frogs legs!
