Some larger holes will need to have the drywall replaced. There is a drywall adhesive that is eco-friendly and allows for thermal and sound insulation too.  TYTAN PROFESSIONAL DRYWALL ADHESIVE is environmentally friendly and does not contain, R22 or CFCs or HCFC’s and is Formaldehyde Free. One can can replace up to 25, 10.1 Oz cartridges of traditional caulk adhesive. It can be applied to dry, wet or frozen surfaces and eliminates need for nails and unsightly nail pops.
