I heard there is a import tax break for green goods. Is it true?
I can’t find anything on tax breaks for importing biodegradable bags, but I do know that some cities are imposing bans on conventional plastic bags in grocery stores. These movements tend to occur at the local level rather than the national or international level. For example: a plastic bag ban has been implemented in Long Beach, California. However, grocery stores are still allowed to give their customers plastic bags in pretty much every place in California where I have shopped recently.
