Well guest, farms in general usually have a small footprint on the environment, except for the natural flora and fauna of the land used of course. While tobacco is in itself a plant, treatment and production centers are where all the chemicals come into play. However, I believe while the footprint of a hemp farm may be as equally impactive as a tobacco farm, a hemp plantation can produce many more useful commodities than a nicotine addiction.
