What’s the difference between being biodegradable versus photodegradable?

    Photodegradable is the ability of something to be broken down by light. Whereas biodegradable is the ability of something to be decomposed by biological agents, especially bacteria. One is the breakdown of substances by light, the other is the same breakdown but by living things.
