One of the largest green walls constructed was in 2005 for Japan’s Aichi Expo. It was roughly 500 feet long by 40 feet wide and composed of a hemp canvas called ‘kenaf’, with pockets planted with sedum, vines and flowers. It was refered to as the bio-lung since it was capable of filtering the urban air. It was large, however, it did not fully cover the building. An image can be seen at the link provided
