I’m not 100% certain behind this, but from what I have found if you are collecting rainwater, as long as the acid rain does not come into contact with any other contaminants, it can be filtered out. Acid rain has more of a long term impact on the environment, killing off and affecthing things humans depend on for survival. Collected rain water may be best used for landscaping and irrigiation if you are worried about it’s acidity, but the greater impact is the environmental factors acid rain causes, not direct consumption by a human.
