While we can’t know exactly what would happen, suffice it to say that it would probably be over twice as dramatic as the Mt. St. Helens eruption. Yellowstone is classified as a supervolcano, which means that it would spout out +240 cubic miles of lava (try to even imagine how much that is, I dare you).
There is also a threat of hydrothermal eruption, which would look kind of like a volano-sized geyser like Old Faithful.
