What would happen if the entire rainforest was gone?

Without the rainforest there would not be enough oxygen made, and carbon emissions in the air would not be filtered out. We would lose millions of things, including:
-more than two thirds of all known plant and animal species
-many more unknown/unseen species of plants and animals
-native tribes of people who still live as they did hundreds of years ago

If the entire rain forest and everything in it were gone, there would be an incredible lack of balance in the environment. One of the most apparent problems would be the lack of a huge number of large trees to offset carbon. There are also other innumerable problems like a huge and sudden lack of biodiversity, etc.
