What would be the environmental effects of the Earth’s magnetic field shifting?

Chances are there would be little to no affect. The magnetic field doesn’t really have much of an effect on living things, unless the flip takes more than a few years. If that’s the case, we’d all be subject to a large amount of radiation, for an extended period of time, which would be bad. However, there are many scientists who think that the shift will take a year at the most, which won’t affect us too much. The only effect that would stand out would be changes in tide and wind patterns, due to the change in the earth’s rotation.
