The Jaragua Sphaero, also known as the Dwarf Gecko, is the world’s smallest reptile. It’s a gecko and lives in both the Dominican Republic and Haitian islands. It was only recently discovered, but it has been around for hundreds to thousands of years. Like the above post says, it is only 1.6 centimeters long. It was discovered by two biologists, Blair Hedges and Richard Thomas. They went to Pennsylvania State University and the University of Puerto Rico. It’s said to be endangered.
