Essentially it extends from Europe to the Sea of Japan, or across 11 times zones. The Mumbai Suburban Railway in India carries almost 7 million passengers everyday, making it the largest railway system in terms of usage. The world’s busiest passenger station is the Shinjuku station in Tokyo where 3.64 million people board a train everyday. The Union Pacific Railroad is the largest in the U.S.
