Ozone destruction would allow large amounts of ultra violet radiation that the layer currently protects us from, to enter the atmosphere and reach earth’s surface. This radiation would cause increased cases of sunburn and skin cancer, in addition to visual problems associated with high levels of UV exposure. it would also have an adverse effect on plant life. hindering their growth, and causing disruption for small organisms. This impact on plant life could eventually be catastrophic for living creatures leading to worldwide famine, mass starvation, and mass extinction.
