The mass of the Earth is 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilograms (or 6E+24 kg). This is determined by looking at gravitational pull in Newton’s equation: F = G*((M1*M2) / R), where F is force, G is the constant 6.67259×10-11m3/s2 kg, M1 and M2 are the two masses, and R is the distance between the objects.
At Washington University, an associate professor of earth and planetary sciences calculated the mass of the earth to be 6 x 10^24 kilograms.
