    A watermill uses water to power a wheel or turbine to use in some manufacturing process such as making flour, lumber, etc. The force of the water drives the wheel whih alternately rotates an axel to make the machinery run.

    A watermill is a structure that drives some sort of mechanical process using the power of flowing water.  There are two classes of watermills, a horizontal watermill and vertical watermill.  Watermills are used in the production of various products such as flour, metals, textiles, or lumber.
