In 2010, Vancouver, Canada was the warmest city to ever host the Winter Olympics. It is a warmer city than all of the other cities that have ever hosted the olympics, and during this winter it was warmer than it usually is. The temperatures averaged at 44.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 2010 winter olympics was the warmest yet. Vancouver had the warmest January in at least 74 years.
