The Union Street Urban Orchard was a Festival of Architectures built on an unused lot at 100 Union Street in London. Started on June 19, 2010, the Festival was built / designed / created by artists, architects, gardeners, and scientist. A series of workshops was hosted at the event, along with housing a LivingArk and a zero-carbon pod. Visitors and local residents were encouraged to use the Festival as an exchanging grounds (meeting grounds). On September 19, 2010 the Festival was dismantled with remaining trees and plants dontated to local community gardens.
