What was the Presidents’ Conference Committee street car?

    The Presidents Conference Committee was a gathering of rail executives in the 1930’s that collaborated to try to streamline the street car and lure back riders that were being tempted away by the automobile. Production was disrupted by World War II but San Fancisco’s MUNI system still uses many of these streetcars.
