It is probably REDD, the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Developing Countries.  REDD works in conjunction with the UN and uses financial incentives to encourage developing countries to stop deforestation.  It is still in early stages and has 9 pilot programs: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Zambia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Viet Nam, Bolivia, Panama and Paraguay.  The program has a lot of funding behind it and its use of financial incentives suggest that it could be highly successful.
