    Chernobyl, Ukraine 26th 1986. The reactor’s emergency shutdown failed during a routine test, and caused a catastrophic nuclear explosion. 31 died shortly after and between 600,000-800,000 men were used for clean up, 300,000 were exposed to radiation 500 times the limit.
