What was the Long blades cultural stage?

    The Long Blades cultural stage existed in the Aksam region, from 10,000 to 7500 BC.  It was a late Pleistocene/early Holocene lithic industry from the northern region of Ethiopia.  The stage was named after the mudstone that the people utilized.
