Depends on what you mean by ‘biggest.’ In terms of intensity, Hurricane Wilma is the most intense hurricane based on central pressure, at 882 millibars. It was the fourth costliest hurricane in US history, with Katrina being the costliest.
The deadliest hurricane was the Galveston Texas Hurricane of 1900 and the most intense was a hurricane in the Florida Keys in 1935.
