The biggest dinosaur ever found was the Argentinosaurus at 110 feet long and 100 tons. That’s as heavy as 20 bull elephants and as long as 3 school buses.
Amateur French fossil hunters from the tiny French village of Plagne in the Jura plateau, have unearthed the largest dinosaur footprints in the world, belonging to a cousin of the diplodocus. As recently authenticated by palaeontologists of the National Centre for Scientific Research, the colossal prints were left by giant sauropods weighing up to 50 tons. The trail of craters the giant herbivores left stretches for hundreds of yards!
