What is the US climate action network used for?

It is the largest network of organizations in the United States that are working on climate change.  To quote the website, the network was formed “in response to the need for a forum for joint strategy development and advocacy to affect change in a coordinated way at the state and local level as well as at the United Nations and in Washington, DC.”

The idea is to make NGOs and organizations work together under this umbrella group so that everyone can profit from the same research and use the strength of the unit for lobbying and inducing change.
