What typifies a heath ecosystem?

    A heath ecosystem is usually very dry. and exist in various places of the world.  The habitat is covered with dwarf shrubs, and wildflowers can be prevalent.  The soil does not have to be fertile in order for a heath ecosystem to flourish.  There are large heath ecosystems in Australia, England, and Iceland.
