Generally, environmental scientists and environmental engineers study technologies and implementation strategies for renewable energies. However, there is a place for other scientists as well – economists, climate scientists, ecologists, and chemists, to name a few, can also play a role in studies that examine green energies. Environmental science is inherently interdisciplinary, and it shows with the wide variety of people working with environmental studies.
